ooh, spring begets new things. our friends from one small seed launched a new ezine, "Joe Bubble" www.joebubble.com. we love this mag - if you're cape tonean we think you'll love it more. this mag feels like a more accessible "one small seed" www.onesmallseed.com(we love one small seed, but we all know how parochial and geographically biased OSS can get - word up Cape Town!). Joe Bubble, covers local (SA) fashion fotography, art & kulture etc.
ye, i just checked this out, it feels very familiar (i'm american by the way).i'm not sure if that's a good thing...i liked the overall feel of the ezine though, very cool.

why is this place the loneliest place on the "innernet"? not sure if you south african, but i'm based out in the uk and i like the way you write about local sa artists etc. reminds me of home. even if there are like to of us on this blog, it will never feel lonely, feels like home

ReplyDeleteanonymous, yeah, as i said above, this place is like my own private soliloquay (sp check that word for me). the traffic numbers are up quite a bit, which is interesting*. maybe as i move along, i'll develop a greater sense of audience, one that exists beyond me me me me. will see. anyway glad you like it, i think the pieces are often wildly overwritten, like lauryn hill in her second and last album...but glad you like nonetheless. keep reading.
